Prasad Ramakrishnan is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Freshworks, leading the company’s IT vision, strategy and execution. He set up the technology and business systems infrastructure to enable Freshworks’ public market (IPO) journey. As a leader at a fast growing company, he enables seamless connectivity and business continuity during the pandemic, drives the digital transformation of the various aspects to enable the company to scale, deploys a metrics and analytics based culture in the organization, and prioritizes data and information protection. Prasad has co-founded a non-profit organization called Ayyappa Samaaj to facilitate religious and spiritual awareness towards Lord Ayyappa. He has also held a variety of leadership positions during his career, including as CIO of Veeva Systems, and as an advisory board member for Strikedeck. He received his MBA, Global Management degree from University of Phoenix, MCA degree from Anna University and BS in Mathematics from University of Madras.
