KUCHIPUDI DANCE CLASSES

Every Tuesday from February 3rd to May 26th, 2026

India Community Center

525 Los Coches Street, Milpitas

Time: 5pm – 6pm

Kuchipudi – one of India’s 6 classical dances, serves as a gateway to the philosophical underpinnings of life – the art form can offer a sense of self, conviction, understanding and discipline.

ICC similarly cultivates a holistic sense of self by merging culture with community, fitness, education, and performance.

Therefore, ICC offers the ideal environment for its approach to Kuchipudi.

These classes will offer a deep understanding of classical Kuchipudi and its traditions, while integrating modern teaching practices.

The focus will be on building a strong foundation of technique and storytelling.

About the Teacher

For seventeen years, Sindhu S. Ravuri has trained in Kuchipudi under Padmabhushans Drs. Raja, Radha and Kaushalya Reddy, and has received several national and international accolades.

At the age of twelve, she became the youngest dancer in history to be selected for the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival.

She has also performed for the Parliaments of India and Germany, and is the recipient of a YoungArts scholarship as well as an International Certificate of Recognition from UNESCO.
