About ICC
India Community Center (ICC) was founded 20 years ago as a non-profit organization and is the largest Indo-American community organization in US. ICC’s mission is to promote Indian culture and values by providing social, cultural, recreational and community programs, thereby uniting the Indian community, and raising awareness about Indian culture in the local community. ICC has raised $30M+ from the community, and operates 3 facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization provides 500+ program annually, including preschool, summer camps, senior programs, medical and legal clinics, table tennis, youth and adult fitness programs as well as cultural and educational programs. ICC is a non-religious, non-regional, non-profit organization. ICC welcomes all without regard to racial, ethnic, regional, religious, political or socio-economic background.
Role Description – You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of fund-raising aspects including, the major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, special events, and capital campaigns. The Director works closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors in all development and fund-raising endeavors.

ICC is seeking a part-time Grant Writer for a hybrid role that is located in Milpitas, California. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and managing the grant application process for the ICC. You will work closely with the staff and the fundraising team to develop grants that align with the organization’s mission and funding needs.
