My upbringing has been nothing short of globe-trotting.
I was born in India (Jodhpur, Rajasthan) and spent my early years there before moving to Costa Rica. I received my medical degree from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 2001. I completed my postgraduate training in pediatrics at Case Western University, Cleveland, followed by a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Washington University, St. Louis.
I am a tenured physician-scientist with >50 peer-reviewed articles in PubMed-indexed medical journals. My research focus is maternal-child health.
I am passionate about contributing to global health and have received training in pediatric global health at Case Western University. I am passionate about serving the unmet healthcare needs of our community and advancing global health, particularly child health.
