Bay Area Champion

The Bay Area Champion organizes annual contests on a variety of topics for students in grades 1 through 12. These contests are held in partnership with several education-focused organizations and provide students from the Bay Area and beyond an opportunity to showcase their excellence in various subjects by competing with peers in the same grade.

Science Championship

The Science Championship offers an exciting opportunity for students in Grade 1 to Grade 6 to showcase their knowledge in various scientific fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and environmental science.

Open to students from all educational boards, the competition encourages healthy competition among young learners from different counties. Students can register individually, giving them the chance to explore a specific topic in depth, igniting curiosity and fostering a love for learning. The theme for the upcoming championship is “Universe.”

STEM Challenge

The Bay Area Champion is organizing an annual grade-level competitive event aimed at fostering creativity and innovation in young minds. This event involves school students and their guiding teachers from various cities. Students will conceptualize ideas, develop science projects, and create innovative prototype models using low-cost materials and local resources. The goal is to provide practical and indigenous technological solutions to society’s basic needs or challenges.

Students in grades 3 through 8 are eligible to participate individually or in teams of two, showcasing their models and exhibits. Attractive prizes and scholarships will be awarded to the winning projects and models.

Jr. Computer Science Champs

The Young CS Thinkers Challenge 2025 is a one-hour contest designed to introduce students to the exciting world of Computer Science through fun, age-appropriate challenges.

Covering number systems, expression notations, Boolean logic, and graph theory, the contest encourages logical thinking and problem-solving over memorization.

Students will tackle 15 diverse questions, including multiple choice, true/false, matching, fill-in-the-blanks, and diagram-based puzzles.

The challenge explores how computers count, store, and process information, how mathematical notations are used in computing, the basics of Boolean logic, and the fundamentals of networks and connections in graph theory.
