ICC Valentine's Day 2010 - Fire and ICE!!

Raised money for a great cause! We had the food, live fire performers, dancers, singers and best DJ in town! Missed out . . . see below.

On February 13th, 2010, the community came together for a Valentine's Day fundraiser for the ICC Senior Program. A sold out event attended by over 460 people, Valentine’s @ ICC was organized and run by over 40 volunteers (ICC members and active Stay-Fit participants). The packed event, themed fire and ice (with decorations donated by Pamela Sahu), was one that provided fun for the whole family and dancing until early hours of the morning. Part I (from 7:45pm – 8:30pm) showcased dance performances and choreography by Ricky Prasad, Marco & Shelley and romantic duets by our live Karaoke singers. (more photos and video links below)

Dinner (8:30pm – 9:15pm) was elegantly catered by Dosa Place, with both high end vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu. In addition, dessert was Akram Kulfi and dark and white chocolate fountains from the San Jose Chocolate Fountain company. (more photos and video links below)

Part II (9:15pm – 10:15pm) opened with prize giveaways, including a $150 gift card donated by Union Bank (a gold sponsor) as well as saris and suits given by Kash fabrics to the best dressed of the evening. This was followed by a special 30 minute live fire performance by the Fire Pixies to a medley of songs. Special guest MC Mantra of Morning Masti made a special appeal to the group to support the ICC Senior Program, and was followed by bedazzling performances of ICC Stayfit members & ICC Jollywood Dancers, all choreographed by the Mona Sampath Dance Company. From then on, the night was DJ Salim’s, and people danced the night away until 1am. (more photos and video links below)
