Outside Vendor Contract and Policies


1.  All outside catering must be approved by the ICC Banquet and Conference Center corporate management.
     Please note our list of preferred vendors.
2.  The caterer must be licensed and insured for such services.
3.  Caterer must provide:
     a. Liability insurance (up to 1,000,000.00 with India Community Center named)
     b. Proof of Worker’s Compensation insurance
     c. Proof of food safety/safe food handling course completion
4.  The caterer must review our kitchen facilities and prearrange all usage with the Executive Chef and Food and      Beverage Director.
5.  Food must arrive prepared. Warming, assembly and garnishing may be done at ICC.
6.  Any setup or serving equipment, which is not available from ICC must be supplied by the caterer, or additional      rental charges will apply. Caterer must supplyy soup bowls, if applicable.
7.  It is ICC policy that no food is to be taken off the premises.
8.  Due to health and safety issues, ICC allows a 1.5 hour duration for food to be displayed on buffets.
9.  Caterer must provide kitchen staff, and professionally dressed servers to adequately replenish buffet. Caterer is      responsible for all food handling and must remain on site.
10. A $500.00 security deposit is due at time of booking for the use of the kitchen by the caterer; this deposit will be      refunded if kitchen facilities have been left in the same condition as it was found, and all supplies have been      inventoried.
     The deposit will be sent to the Client within 30 days after the event.
11. Dining room seating will be set for no more than the final guest count guarantee provided to the caterer.
12. For setup and planning purposes, final menu selections must be provided to ICC at a minimum of two weeks prior       to the event date.
13. Caterer must provide all food in disposable trays or in storage containers, and transfer to ICC insert pans/chafing       dishes. ICC will provide serving utensils.
