Kashmir- India’s Umbilical Cord- a detailed discourse with Shri Sushil Pandit on its past, present, and future by Sushil Pandit.
Sushil Pandit is a 55 years old Kashmiri Hindu in exile. Originally from Srinagar in Kashmir, he now lives in New Delhi. As a co-founder of Roots-in-Kashmir (RIK), he works among those Kashmiri Hindus who grew up in exile. RIK, among other issues, fights for justice to the victims and survivors of the Hindu Genocide in Kashmir while preparing the next generation of activists and leaders for their struggle. He publishes Praznath, a bilingual journal on the culture and identity of Kashmir and is an alumnus of the University of Delhi and the JNU. He began his career with Indian Express and later moved on to The Telegraph.
Subsequently, he also worked with Ogilvy, McCann, and JWT, before starting off as an independent professional servicing the communication needs of his corporate clients. Sushil teaches “Strategic Media Planning” at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication as an Adjunct faculty.
Sushil is an expert on Kashmir matters and has presented his insightful perspective at various national and international forums. He is often sought out by the Indian news channels on the issues related to Kashmir and Kashmir’s ethnically cleansed Hindus.
