College Essay Boot Camp at India Community Center

in partnership with UC Eazy

Program dates: Saturday, July 21stSunday, July 22ndSaturday, July 28th, and Saturday, August 4th

In Partnership with UC Eazy

The personal statement (Essay) is an increasingly critical component of college applications, yet many students struggle to produce an essay that enables their unique strengths to shine.
Join us for a 4-part workshop that will equip incoming 12th graders with the strategies they need to craft a perfect essay.

At the completion of the boot camp, the student will have created drafts of two Essays for College Applications – one for the Common Application and the other for UC Personal Insights.

Each essay would be reviewed twice by the Essay coach.
Workshop topics will include:
 What college admissions reps are really looking for
 Differences between UC and Common Application essays
 How to brainstorm and select topics
 Common pitfalls to avoid
 Review & editing of actual essay drafts

Program Dates: Saturday, July 21st, Sunday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 28th, and Saturday, August 4
Time – 3 pm – 5 pm
Location – ICC Milpitas
Fee – $ 499
Requirements – Students must bring their own laptop. They should also be willing to complete the homework
