Volunteer counselors will assist the ICC staff in planning and implementing an exciting, innovative and fun summer camp program for school-aged children. Counselors will plan activities and help plan themed events. They will also supervise daily activities, games, crafts, and be actively involved with the safety of campers.

Counselor Requirements

  • Must be already in high school or entering 9th grade in the fall of 2012
  • Responsible, Energetic and Creative
  • Enjoy working with children
  • A team player
  • Flexible and able to handle unexpected schedule changes
  • Patient and understanding
  • Able to commit to volunteering for at least two weeks of camp
  • Ready to lead a group of 8-10 campers from the ages of 4-14
  • Enthusiastic about coordinating and leading activities

When and Where

  • Camps will be held in the Bay Area - (Milpitas, Palo Alto & Sunnyvale)
  • Camp Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
  • Chaperones will be present at all times

Interviews will be held on April 15th 2012 at ICC on a first come first serve basis from  10am to 4pm and candidates will be informed of their acceptance into the program on April 23rd 2012.
