Duncan Taylor & Company has ownership of one of the largest privately-held collections of rare scotch whisky casks. The company has been “laying down” casks from premium Scottish distilleries for decades and has, in recent years, made its branded products available to whisky connoisseurs throughout the World.

Peter Currie Bio

I followed my dad into the whisky industry, starting work at Loch Fyne Whiskies in 2002.

I then moved down to Campbeltown to start work at the world renowned Springbank distillery. I was lucky enough to work in all aspects of the distillery under the tutelage of Frank McHardy before settling into the position of Sales and Marketing manager. During my time at Springbank I won the Young Whisky Ambassador of the Year in 2010.

After almost 8 years in Campbeltown, the timing was right for a new challenge. I was asked to join the Duncan Taylor team in February 2012 to help set up an import company in North America for our range of Single Malts, Single Grain and Blended Scotch Whiskies.
